Events

The Syracuse Inner Harbor is a unique waterfront site on the north side of the city. Multiple events are held there each year. It includes an amphitheatre with a large white canopy structure that provides an ideal setting for performances with the harbor as a backdrop. The built in seating accommodates approximately 500 people, with room for about 1,000 more on the grassy knoll above.

The Onondaga Creekwalk extends both north and south from the Syracuse Inner Harbor. Heading north toward Onondaga Lake, a paved pathway follows the western shoreline of the Inner Harbor and Barge Canal for almost ¾ mile. This segment of the Creekwalk offers opportunities for all sorts of recreational activity, including in-line skating and bicycling, fishing along the shoreline, or enjoying a public concert at the Inner Harbor Amphitheater. The northern trail offers exciting new access to views of the historic Barge Canal and the changing Syracuse Lakefront Area.
